Quo Vadis W/ Sterac // Clay Wilson + rrao // Soren Roi // Proteus

Quo Vadis once again descends into the subterranean shadows of BASEMENT for an evening that moves through techno’s full gradient; this time featuring bracing live electronic performances bookended by exploratory and punishing DJ sets from both rising newcomers and pioneering legends as the past, present and future come together.

PROTEUS (UK)  Self-described as “unyielding and eclectic,” Proteus’s mixes have been on heavy rotation in our summer 2019 listening lists. We are incredibly excited to bring the UK DJ over for her North American debut, and cannot wait to hear what she has in store for us as she opens the room.

CLAY WILSON AND RRAO (live)  We guess we could call a lot of folks Quo Vadis favorites, but these two gems are truly up there! Both fantastic solo artists who have cemented themselves in the local community with their respective distinct sounds, Clay Wilson and rrao will come together for a harder-than-usual live collaboration that will explore intense sonic realms.

SOREN ROI Returning for his second Quo Vadis appearance, the inimitable Soren Roi goes for the jugular with a freaky and full-on sensory assault of a live set. Forever eschewing convention, expect the unexpected from the Nothing Changes co-founder and Black Rain member for a viciously primal hour of harsh electronics and dark noise

STERAC  Closing out the night, techno stalwart Steve Rachmad dons his Sterac alias for a pummeling end to the evening as he fuses Dutch and Detroit sounds with both ‘90s and modern twists.
