BOSTON 168  Turin duo Boston 168 stand as one of the brightest, most burning examples of Italy’s recent renaissance of acid techno. True masters of restraint, they harness the haunting, mercurial side of the 303, deploying its iconic gliding tones to hypnotic effect. Tracks like “Acid Morning” and “Oblivion and Vapor” rush with elegant assurance, slowly boiling over without ever showing their hand. As a live act, they’ve quickly become one of the most definitive in modern club music, maintaining a touring schedule which could only be described as rigorous. Their most recent EP, “909 Therapy” released on Ellen Alien’s BPitch Control, proves their work is far from finished. The three tracks see Boston 168 in a cathartic mood, moving from strength to strength.

JOEY QUIÑONES  Joey Quiñones has quickly become a mainstay in BK’s thriving queer techno underground. His sets Unter, Gegen, Horse Meat Disco and other seminal parties bask in the lurid, drooling and perverse.

PURE IMMANENCE  Pure Immanence is the conceptual collaborative DJ project of Kiddo Sincere and Nick Bazzano, blending techno, ambient, house, trance, experimental, and archival sonic esoterica into a diverse array of immersive psychedelic moods, grooves, and atmospheres.
